How to Grow Flowers In Country Gardens

Learning how to grow flowers is an ongoing process. My flower gardening started over thirty years ago in our country gardens and continues to be one of my favorite pastimes. Even after three decades, I continue to learn new things every season about the flowers I love.

Flower garden ideas come to me during all seasons of the year, but mostly in winter. During the long months of cold weather and indoor activities, thoughts of summer blooms flood my mind.

Dreaming of a cottage flower garden was the first step towards making it a reality right in our back yard. The second step was to convince my husband that the work involved would be worth it!

This section on how to grow flowers will be full of flower gardening advice; types of plants, styles of gardens, watering and fertilizers, facts about soil and so much more.

So, let's get our hands dirty!
