My red Kitchen Aid stand mixer is put into use several times per week!

Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.

Instead of dropping by teaspoons, invest in a cookie scoop~it's so much faster~

Makes about 12 dozen cookies

This recipe makes a very large batch of cookies. You can load these classic treats up in gallon ice cream buckets and send them to your college kids! They love 'em~

Freezing Cookie Dough

The best kinds of dough to freeze are: molded or cookie-press, drop, refrigerator, bar, and roll-and-cut cookies.

For freezing cookie dough: Form refrigerator-cookie dough into a roll or a bar; then wrap in a sheet of plastic wrap.
Pack other kinds of dough in freezer safe containers.
That's it!

Thaw refrigerator-cookie dough in refrigerator about 1 hour, or until it slices easily. Bake as usual.

Thaw any other kind of cookie dough till it can be handled easily; prepare and bake as usual.

Try freezing the dough from my Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe...it works great!

Kitchen Aid
Stand Mixers

I always mix cookie dough with my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer . There is never any need to stir by hand. This mixer is powerful enough for heavy cookie doughs...I wouldn't be without it!!!
