Cowboy Jokes

There have been cowboy jokes floating around these parts for as long as any of us can remember. My husband grew up with Ace Reid books, which he received as Christmas and birthday gifts. He still has them and our children have read them all, cover to cover, as well.

Men around here are used to hearing jokes about cowboys and don't take them personally. We have to laugh at ourselves in order to survive this sometimes harsh, country life. Most of us can find some reality in the jokes and cowboy cartoons, which just makes them even more humorous.

There are always precarious situations we find ourselves in that later become the amusing stories we experience all over again while gathered around our kitchen table or a campfire. I would imagine that is exactly the way Ace Reid came up with much of the material in his books over the years!

Never approach a bull from the FRONT, a horse from the REAR,
or a fool from ANY direction!

"Which one is the horses rear?"

Our son was the 'butt' of this obvious cowboy joke years ago. He didn't mind at all! Having fun together is definitely a large part of our country life!

Visit often to see what's new in this segment! We'll be adding content to lighten up your mood frequently. There is never a shortage of incidents to make fun of around here!

Cowboy Drawings ~ I am going to guess that just about every country kid has dabbled in cowboy drawings at one point or another in his/her youth.
