The Best Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe!Whipping cream makes this the best cream cheese frosting recipe
for your richest country cakes! Guest contributor, Eileen Damone, makes 1-1/2 times the Bavarian Torte Frosting recipe (below) because it is so good, her family enjoys LOTS of filling/frosting on their favorite chocolate cake. That will be enough to frost 2 eight inch round cakes that have been split into 4 layers...more layers, more icing!!! I love it! "Let it sit in the fridge after frosting for several hours before serving", says Eileen. "It's better after a day...and even better (if it lasts) after 2 days!" Bavarian Torte Frosting:
Beat the cream until stiff ~ will hold peaks. Set aside. Beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Mix in the whipped cream ~ gently. Frost cake and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
